Itinerary  : Your Hotel in Hue City - Royal Tombs: Tu Duc – Khai Dinh  – Thien Mu Pagoda ( boat trip )– Hue Citadel - Dong Ba market -  DMZ TOURS Meeting point in Dong Ha - Khe Sanh – Full DMZ – Hien Luong Bridge - Ben Hai River - Vinh  Moc Tunnels – Hue City or Dong Ha City.

 Day 1 :  Your Hotel in Hue City – Hue Sightseeing Tour - O/N in Hue.
In the morning : Pick up tourists at your hotel in Hue City to 
Tu Duc tomb which was built between 1864 and1867. Of all the Nguyen kings , Tu Duc reigned longest( 36 years ). Tu Duc tomb is the work of art of a poet. The architectural grace is in harmony with nature . Nature plays its part in architecture . Tu Duc tomb is a distinguished manifestation of this Vietnamese architectural philosophy .

  Drive to Khai Dinh tomb .whose architecture is completely different from that of any other royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty. This is a union of The Oriental and Occidental civilization and culture .The porcelain – setting art in the decoration of the tomb is a marvelous achievement . This is a happy meeting between East and West in the history of Vietnamese architecture.  Stop at A good restaurant in Hue for lunch

   Then take a boat trip on The Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda which was founded in 1601 by Lord Nguyen Hoang ,governor of Thuan Hoa Province . According to legend ,a Fairy Woman appeared to Lord Nguyen Hoang and told him to construct the pagoda. The seven-storey tower built by Emperor Thieu Tri has become the unofficial symbol of Hue .

Drive to Hue Citadel whose construction begun in 1804 by Emperor Gia Long .. Continue to visit The Imperial Enclosure where the Emperor’s functions were carried out. Within The Imperial City is The Forbidden Purple City which was reserved for the private life of the emperor and his large family .

 Proceed to Dong Ba Market for shopping –  Drive back to your hotel . O/N in Hue

 DAY 2Hue – Dong Ha – Khe Sanh Combat Base – DMZ – Vinh Moc Tunnels -Hue


7h00 A.M the morning : Leaving Hue for DMZ TOURS LOCATION IN Dong Ha :113 Le Loi St - You will drive on The Highway of Horror  in the Blazing Summer of 1972 to Dong Ha which was The headquarter of The US 3rd Marine Division ) .Short stop at The skeleton of LONG HUNG CHURCH at Quang Tri Town which was heavily destryed in 1972 - Then proceed to The Rockpile -“ A US Marine look out “. From the site you can have a general view of Razorback , Mutter’sridge ,LZ Russell , Camp Fuller , Carroll reminding you of the two first operations in this tactical area : Prairie & Hastings . The next stop is Dakrong Bridge –one of the starting points of Ho Chi Minh trails leading you to Hamburger Hill and Ashao Valley . Our main stop in the morning is Khe Sanh Combat base , a large U.S Marines base attacked by The N.V.A Forces in early 1968 before TET Offensive . Drive back to Dong Ha for lunch. 

In the afternoon , continue to visit Gio Linh Firebase ( Alpha 2 )which belonged  to The McNamara Wall.- Stop at GIO LINH CEMETERY with more than 2,000 NVA graves . Then you’ll walk on The Freedom Bridge across The Ben Hai River , the true demarcation line between two Vietnams for 18 years ( from 1954 to 1972 ) . You will drive past Cua Tung Beach which was called “ The Queen of Beaches “ by the French . The last stop is Vinh Moc Museum and Vinh Moc Tunnels , the refuge of more than 300 North Vietnamese people during different bombing operations for 6 years ( 1966 to 1972 ). Drop -off in Dong Ha City or Drive  all the way back to Hue City ( your hotel ) – End of services
