DMZ Tours-specializing in tours to former
battlefields.
Our Motto: Satisfied customers are our most important asset
I was born in Quang
Tri Province, Viet Nam. After graduating from Hue University in 1973
, I taught English at a high school in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh Province in
Central Viet Nam , then I moved to Mekong Delta as a high school teacher
until 1990, I returned to Quang Tri and
became the first tour guide for my home province .
I have 32 years’ experience as a tour guide, a war witness including private tours, being a tour
operator, and am now (since 2008) the owner of DMZ Tours located in Dong Ha,
Quang Tri (former headquarters for the U.S. Third Marine Division).
I like history, but more than
being a historian, I have been a witness to war. I have dedicated most of my adult life to
providing and organizing tours to former battlefields of Viet Nam. I specialize in helping American veterans
return to the places they served at during the war.
My area of expertise revolves around the battles and
battlefields that occurred in the I Corps area during the war. This specialized knowledge provides me with
the ability to answer all your questions about this historic era. As a tour guide I also take visitors to World cultural and natural heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. My high level of organizational skills allows
me to offer tours for individuals, family-sized tours, and group tours (up to
ten people).
I
can also arrange custom tours throughout Viet Nam. In addition I speak English and French
fluently - all your needs will be met.
