DMZ Tours – specialists in tours to the former battlefields.
Our motto: satisfied customers are our most important asset.
I was born in Quang Tri Province, Vietnam. After graduating from Hue University in 1973, I taught English at a high school in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh Province, in Central Vietnam. I then moved to the Mekong Delta, where I taught high school until 1990. That year I returned to Quang Tri and became the first tour guide in my home province.
I have 34 years' experience as a tour guide, including private tours, and as a tour operator. Since 2008 I have been the owner of DMZ Tours, based in Dong Ha, Quang Tri (the former headquarters of the US 3rd Marine Division).
I like history, but more than a historian, I am a witness of the war. I have spent most of my adult life organizing and guiding tours to the former battlefields of Vietnam. I specialise in helping American veterans return to the places where they served during the war.
My field of expertise is the battles and battlefields of the I Corps area during the war, so I can answer all your questions about this period of history. As a tour guide, I also take visitors to the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites. My strong organizational skills allow me to offer tours for individuals, families and groups (up to ten people).
I can also arrange custom tours throughout Vietnam. I speak English and French fluently, so all your needs will be met.
